1. Agreement

 

By booking a session with Ebony B. Photography, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement ensures a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience for both parties.

 

2. Retainer & Payment

A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your session date.
The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.

Sessions are not confirmed until the retainer has been received.

All payments made are non-refundable.

 

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

 

Clients may reschedule their session with at least 48 hours notice.

• Rescheduled sessions must take place within 30 days of the original booking

• One reschedule is permitted per session

• After one reschedule, a new retainer will be required

In the event of cancellation, all payments made are non-refundable.

 

4. Arrival & Timing

 

Clients are expected to arrive on time.

• Late arrival may result in reduced session time

• Sessions will be canceled after 20 minutes of no-show or late arrival

• A new booking and retainer will be required to reschedule

No refunds or additional time will be provided for late arrivals.

 

5. Creative Direction

 

Ebony B. Photography maintains full creative control over all sessions.

By booking, the Client acknowledges that:

• They have reviewed Ebony B. Photography’s portfolio

• They understand and accept the artistic style and editing approach

• Final image selection, editing style, and composition are at the photographer’s discretion

Requests for re-edits or reshoots based on personal preference or style will not be accommodated.

 

6. Proof Gallery & Image Selection

 

After your session, a private online proof gallery will be delivered.

• The proof gallery contains lightly edited, watermarked images for selection purposes only

• Clients will select the number of images included in their package

• Only selected images will be fully retouched and delivered

The proof gallery is not included in your package and may not be downloaded, shared, or used.

 

7. Additional Images

 

Additional images may be purchased after viewing your gallery.

All image purchases are final.

 

8. Turnaround Time

 

Final edited images are delivered within 2–3 weeks unless otherwise stated.

Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

 

9. Wardrobe & Styling

 

Clients are responsible for arriving prepared for their session.

Styling guidance may be provided; however:

• Final outfit choices are the responsibility of the Client

• Ebony B. Photography is not responsible for the outcome of wardrobe selections

Client closet items or wardrobe pieces may be offered and are subject to availability.

 

10. Session Scope

 

Each session includes the number of people, outfits, and time outlined in your selected package.

Additional requests (extra people, extended time, additional looks, etc.) may be subject to additional fees.

 

11. Location & Travel

 

Sessions take place in-studio unless otherwise agreed upon.

Travel or location-based sessions may incur additional fees based on distance and setup requirements.

 

12. Image Rights & Usage

 

Ebony B. Photography retains full copyright of all images.

Clients receive a personal-use license, which allows:

• Sharing on social media

• Printing for personal use

Images may not be:

• Altered, edited, or filtered

• Used for commercial purposes without written consent

Ebony B. Photography reserves the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

 

13. Liability

 

Ebony B. Photography will take all reasonable care during your session.

 

However, the photographer is not responsible for:

• Unforeseen circumstances (weather, illness, equipment failure, etc.)

• Client-related issues that impact the session outcome

In the rare event that Ebony B. Photography is unable to fulfill the session, liability is limited to a full refund of payments made.

 

14. Final Agreement

 

By booking your session, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood this agreement

• You agree to all terms outlined above

• You enter into this agreement willingly​
